Fang!
Photo & Description provided by the Westport Humane Society
Fang is a wonderful senior domestic short hair. This handsome guy came to CHS in October of 2007 when his original owners abandoned him. When he arrived he had some medical issues with his thyroid and kidneys that needed to be treated. The vet at CHS was able to correct those problems with a very complicated and specialized surgery. Fang recovered well and went up for adoption. He was lucky enough to be adopted into a great home with another CHS cat but after several months Fang decided he wanted to be an only kitty to get all the attention. He came back to CHS in Westport and he’s now waiting for his forever home! He’s an amazing boy who greets us with meows and rubs every morning. He’ll make a great pet for someone looking for an older, calm cat who just wants human companionship. He’s fully litterbox trained and has excellent house manners. Come meet Fang at the Westport branch of CHS!

Tigi!
Tigi is an adult spayed female. Armed with more love than she knows what to do with, Tigi gets so excited when she’s being loved and pet that she drools! Her arrival at the society marked the end of a tough life on the street. So tough, in fact, that she was ragged and dirty and looked far older than she truly is. Once we got her cleaned up, we discovered this petite gal is about 6 years old with fur so soft you’ll want to smoosh your face into her! Probably a result of her tough early years, Tigi is special needs due to liver insufficiency. She is being easily managed with a daily medication called Denosyl that her new owners must be prepared to continue. (She takes her meds easily in canned food!) Tigi is an attention seeker who will make a superb lap cat and snuggle buddy for anyone looking. She’s fully litterbox trained and has wonderful house manners. She’s been at the society far longer than she should be, so come meet this amazing cat at the Westport branch of the CT Humane Society!
